Could be something could be nothing...how I interrupt it
The start of the comment seems as though they previously knew which boat caught on fire and then in the comment they try to explain that they were given the wrong information and started the wrong boat on on fire. Then because "unknowns" were experimenting with fire extinguishers as a "cover/recorded incidents" the fox would be on another scent?
Were the Chui's legal-(registered business, FEIN, proper insurances, etc.)?
Had anyone heard, prior to this article, about "BOATS" being stored in the facility. I only heard reference to the supposed boat that was set on fire and how would they know which boat was set on fire unless the kids told them? And, who did the boats belong to and how could they be stored in a place that supposedly was already overcrowded with plastics?
So now the first responders and the community have to be concerned with the airborne release from burnt plastics, asbestos, AND fiberglass? Jesus, Mary, Joseph what exactly went up in flames does ANYONE know?
Surprisingly the owners of the boat or boats have not come forward. Local or not? Did the reports by our city inspector mention boats or anything beside plastic? Time for a FOIA, I believe.
This reference to "BOATS" still has me confused. Were they locally owned, how many were there, how could there be room to store them when supposedly the inspection of the building revealed the lack of even so much as walkways? Did E & R also run a storage unit in there besides a plastic recycling business? So many questions and no answers? A lot of rumors though!

Interesting article. Especially blog quote by E & R International owner. Makes one wonder.
So many questions, so few answers.

Most definitely, boats have been stored there over the years.
Then why was that not mentioned before in any of the articles?

Private boat owners are not subject to any FOIA request. Where people store their boats is not city business.
Zoning laws make a buildings usage business city.
