Did anyone read the comment under this article? What do you think is its' meaning? I have my own ideas but would be interested in other interpretations.
Like so much that happens here in Peru, hard to find out the real truth but with this event that affected so many, I think the people deserve an honest answer as to what was actually stored in the building beside plastic to recycle. More important does Peru have ordinances on the books regarding the storage of flammable materials? If so have the locations been identified. We think it is important to know what is in our midst when a fire happens. Lets not let this be shoved under the rug once again. Many of the residents know what really happened at the fire at the Peru Hotel years ago but you will never hear it publicly unless it will be in history books 100 years from now.
Isn't anyone else curious as to what the blogger under this article is referring to? Is he or she trying to tell us there is more to the onset of this fire than meets ones eye? Was someone or something else involved? What about those darn boats or boat? Clean up started yet? IEPA finish inspection yet? How did someone see this kids leaving Westclox when it was pitch dark and not in an easily seen location?
Just a comment, don't know if its true or not, but I heard there was a blue truck, also the boat, that was in the fire. I also heard it belonged to someone who works for the city? Has anyone else heard this?
