PVAS also racked up over 300 hours of extra overtime. Took care of over 200 firefighters, and other emergency workers. At the same time,handled all of the 911 calls, and transfers without the use of mutual aid. Guess what all of this extra overtime will cost the city of Peru.?.......$0.00. Zero, zip, nada, nothing. Great job PVAS, Peru Fire ,Peru Police, ESDA, city of Peru workers, and our elected officials. Proud to live in the Illinois valley. And especially proud to be a Peru citizen.
