Also thanks to the Butterfly Landing and others in the old Sears bldg., your outdoor decorations are great.

I Love the Flower Baskets in Peru's Downtown
The flowers in downtown Peru look like the best I have ever seen, so thanks to the CSO for trying to improve the landscape there. It was announced at the council meeting that the original buyer of the Peru Bank has defaulted and it next goes to the second bidder who has not been announced as far as I know.

Yes thank you CSO. Not enough people realize what good the CSO does for our town. They only complain about them.
Did we really have to water them Sunday after a soaking rain during Saturday night? I assume this was double time or at least time and a half?
Do they water the lovely hanging baskets on a non changeable schedule?
I am repeatedly hearing that we have city workers working on both Saturdays and Sundays. WHY? They aren't able to get the work done during the working week? Someone please explain because this is another example of poor management in my books.
Downtown Peru looks terrible, even the City Hall is overgrown and not trimmed.
I was corrected by a CSO member...they did NOT buy the baskets, the city paid for them and put them up. The CSO put up the US flags.
