I THINK THE KIDDS WOULD LIKE THIS MORE THEN A POOL .
Too Bad, its not what the kids would like its all about what certain adults want. You could get a pickle ball court in every block in Peru before you'll ever get one splash pad.
The children of today will be the leaders of tomorrow before Peru will ever get a swimming pool. In the mean time constructing a splash pad would be foolish because "we" want a swimming pool.
I think the kids would like it too but the adults want a pool because they think they know what kids want more than the kids know what they want.
Just think no charge, no employees and all ages can wander through or stay and play. I tried last summer to generate interest and again this year and absolutely no takers. Maybe someone else might have better luck trying to get this city to do something appealing for the kids.
by the way the kids won't have one next year either because we have not taken one baby step toward starting the process.
