Is The Video Game Over?

On 9/24/12 the city council approved a purchase of a video camera from Connecting Point in the amount of $1545.00. The camera was installed and located at the back of the council chambers on the ceiling in the back.of the room.

The first video was on Oct. 22, 2012 and rather hit or miss since then with 18 meetings and 13 videos posted. I have questioned this and have been told that they have consulted with Connecting Point. I could maybe understand some technical issues in the beginning but 3 months or so into the process, they should be resolved and with good support we should be seeing them posted within a day or two of each meeting.

Hurl and his clan don't want them posted because they don't want the public to see how they act! If more people would come to the council meeting or could watch the videos ( unedited) Harl and his cohorts would be guaranteed to lose the election!!

What happened to open and honest government? I don't see how picking and choosing which videos make it online is considered open and honest.

Why don't we either tell Connecting Point to fix it once and for all or get our money back? That's what you do when you buy something that doesn't work.

This situation is making Connecting Point look real bad if they installed the system and it still doesn't work. Time to put the heat on the vendor that can't get the job done, especially if they have been pad. I think I would start asking for a refund.

We are also paying for more bandwidth from Connecting point too! The problem is connecting point provides to slow of Internet and its probably timing out during the uploading process. They need a faster bandwidth speed for the upload to the video program. They should contact someone that can provide a higher speed of Internet so the videos upload faster and smoother.

Connecting Point is a REAL JOKE (to put it politely). From personal experience I would NOT darken their doorway ever again!! I knew time would catch up with them - Just like the ALL the crooks in Peru.

I have had some bad experiences with Connecting Point and their staff being unknowledgeable in current products. However, I can't see Connecting Point or any business with mediocre knowledge not being able to solve this issue. This is a very simple issue to solve and to think it has gone on this far leads me to believe that this is a Harl trick and Connecting Point is taking the fall for it. Once again showing Harl puts his personal addenda before local business. Shame on Harl and shame on Connecting Point for not standing up for itself and addressing the issue.

Seems to me that Princeton's setup is working fine and it is supposed to be the same except for the way the microphone is.
Just my thoughts on it.

Has anyone from the city even told Connecting Point that they are having a problem with the video camera?

Lois with the present attitude of city hall personnel those atending meetings and having conflicting viewpoints are the problems. There is no problem with the camera besides having to have it. Who thought that certain people were going to continue to embarass themseves so severly. 3X5 cards, 3 minute comments and a podium weren't needed the camera proved where the problems lie.

9:44 Your exactly right when Mike Hart gets elected that camera will work perfectly. This administration is not fooling anyone. The problem is they think we are all stupid. Actually it is not a problem, this will catch up with them when the voters get to the booth in April, then it will be a huge problem...for this administration.
