Venture Drive & 38th Street Chamlin to IDOT

Hold on a minute here. I thought all these changes had been run by IDOT by the mayor and this problem had been studied for years before the changes were implemented? Is the date on this inquiry correct? Seems like a nice letter but it also seems like it should be the latest letter in a series of correspondence BEFORE the city started the uturn parade and economic stress test to see how healthy those northern businesses are financially. And what traffic monitors or video are they referencing that says any problem has been solved? Do they have any automatic monitors or are they only going by some hourly observations? I would think a whole bunch of data would accompany this letter showing the actual back up problems and claimed improvements. Let's see that. It should be provided to the city by now. You should always get your preliminary problem data within at LEAST a month AFTER you have implemented a solution. I know most architects insist on having the preliminary building plans in their hands at least within a month of finishing a building. Give me a break.
When I did a FOIA of ALL pertinent correspondence between IDOT, Chamlin and the city, this was the only letter that was given to me. The date is correct.
LOOKS LIKE A B.S. LETTER TO ME . JUST SOMETHING TO SATISFY THE QUESTIONS . JUST DONE TO BE ON FILE . THEIR WAS PROBLY NOTHING WRITTEN BEFOER THIS DATE . WHAT A JOKE THIS COUNCIL N MAYOR ARE !
In the video (not sure I posted that part) alderman Lukosus stated they met with IDOT previously (not certain exactly WHO at IDOT) and the Bleck stated IDOT gave their verbal approval of the changes the morning of the council meeting August 8 AFTER the changes had occurred? Now correspondence is being sent to seek IDOT assistance? I am confused was IDOT consulted prior to the change as stated in video or is this letter the first official correspondence seeking assistance...do I hear the circus music again?
Is Waldorf the one that always uses the phrase "Cart before the Horse?" This Cart had a motor on it and they never checked until after they realized the cart ran over the horses. Great Job Boys!!!! Any more Videos yet???
