This blog is maintained for the sole purpose of allowing the people of Peru and those interested in the cities of the Illinois Valley to express their views.
“It doesn’t take a majority to win, just a tireless minority that will keep starting brush fires in the mind and hearts of their fellow men.” Samuel Adams
This post is for the believers and some non believers in solar power. The ideas that have taken place with this project are amazing. Nice pictures and very interesting.

Looks like it could be a beautiful park. Ideas such as this come to life when visionaries and government work together
Peru has a hydro-electric dam, their own electric co-op, the areas leading retail center, new Junior high grade school, new sub-divisions, industrial area, rail system and more. Those City leaders must have had something going in the last 30 years.
Anons 3:04 and 7:03 It will be surprising if the 150 union puppets do not respond because their craft is one in which you travel from job to job and see what other communities have achieved also. Peru has stepped forward in the Illinois Valley but you must realize that other areas have done the same with a lot less debt. With elections approaching Local 150 puppets should respond now.
City leaders had something going for the past 30 years, but what did they maintain? Water and sewer lines? The swimming pool? Water Street? Bringing in new without taking care of what we already have is foolish and costly.

Yes 3:04. What have you done for me lately? These 150 union puppets have been riding on the coat tails of the past for 4 years too long.
