After viewing this video alderman Mayszak questions the purchasing of trees from Possibility Place which is a nursery in Monee, Il. The total cost for these trees is approximately $1500 according to our disbursement sheets. Being unable to hear SPW's response to the question does anyone know where these trees are or if they've been planted (and if so, where)? Why are we not purchasing locally?
A big congratulations to all involved in a landmark improvement in Peru City Government. Nothing but good can come from videoing city council meetings and the hope is for continued technological improvement and increasing participation of citizenship. Isn't it great living in the 21st century!!!
Why are we purchasing trees at all? Are we trying to get into a tree competition with Ottawa? I hope they don't plant them under power lines, like Ottawa did. Waste of money - we have better things to spend $1500 on. Waste... waste... waste... Next comes the want... want... want... as we start the budget process again.
What a waste of money..typical connecting point issues the image is terrible and AT&T internet sucks so might as well just done audio and used the money to move pickleball court
