Interesting. An American Soldier wearing a Russian, German, and French flag on his uniform. When I was in the military, we where only required to work for the US and protect the US Constitution.
This soldier is part of the Fifth Special Forces Group. Notice the patch under the US Flag - it says "doing the work of." His unit is under the control of European forces (not the United Nations) and is probably in Afganistan. Parts of the Fifth SF's also have a unique mission for US forces. They are specially trained for peackeeping missions within North America. This is something that was stated very quietly in 2009.
