Hoping all have a restful and peaceful New Years Day and even "Downer" who insists on posting frequently about hos the blog is absolutely ruining everyones life in Peru.
My New Years resolution is not to allow "downer" to be seen on this blog. The good people of Peru are not interested in your meanness especially on this day of new beginnings.

Each new year can provide opportunities for all of us. It just depends on us to work to achieve the goals we aspire to.
Join the fight to create At-Large Aldermen in Peru and reduce the total number of aldermen from eight to six. This will shake up the current group of aldermen and force them all to run again in 2015creating opportunity for new faces on the council. New faces with real abilities and ideas is what we need. Look at what we have now and you have to realize that we have nothing to lose by helping new people get elected as aldermen and mayor. Another reason for term limits as well.

News update:

According to recent posts on FB, the Misplaced dump truck has been found in Putnam County. No more details available at this time. I wonder if you are laughing as hard as I and my friends are at this.
There was word out there a few weeks ago, that the insurance company that paid us for the truck was asking for their money back because they felt it was fraud, after investigating the claim.
This might be rumor or the truth and only time will tell.

Stolen truck found in Putnam County?

What I heard from a city employee is the insurance company called to interview Mikos and he turned in his letter of resignation the next day. He knew this was a shady claim and wasn't going to lie for the city. I wouldn't either. I probably would've left town too instead of getting further in deep with this corrupt city. Should be interesting who takes the fall when the insurance company files fraud charges on the city. Hopefully Bleck will come out of retirement to go to jail!

Brian Foster, just a brief reminder, we have reached the promised month January 2014 and are eagerly awaiting your return. Also in your travels you haven't located a unattended dump truck?
