Coal plant hiking some suburban electric bills - Chicago Tribune

Yes Peru is a member of the IMEA.  Will the city be able to absorb the cost without passing this on to you?

The city won't have to absorb the cost of electricity because they will be making a ton of money by cultivating and dispensing medical merrywanna. Read the Fri. NT. Gonna be a lot of happy people roaming around the city pretty soon.

Do people realize that the IMEA has Peru bonded to a very long term contract. It will be interesting to hear the report which Mayor Harl and Ald Lukosis give at the next council meeting of their trip to Washington D.C. for the IMEA Convention. The explanation of the Peabody blunder has to be lengthy and through.
Who directly pays for their expenses , the IMEA or the city, not that it makes much difference because if it is the IMEA we end up paying for IMEA's costs because we are one of its members. Citizenship like politicians must realize that there is no free lunch in America, someone has to pay. When Alderman Lukosis states that the city is only paying a percentage for the airport and that the state and federal gov't are paying a much larger amount does he realize that we are the ones paying state and federal taxes? Lukosis like many of Peru's alderman are financially very short sighted and fiscally irresponsible. Peru's City Council has been the cheerleaders of Spend, Spend, Spend and Big Payrolls supported by long term debt.
