Illinois Public Meetings Act - A Law Worth Reading
Who is responsible for updating the City of Peru's website? That person is solely responsible for creating a "no room for error environment". With the city's position of providing on the website "only what is necessary by law" and the inaccuracy of recent posting or non posting of meeting times, has created an element of secrecy. This is totally opposite to what Mayor Harl had campaigned for when seeking the position and if those in his administration are responsible for creating this environment - then they should be asked to leave.
Also, keep in mind, that a city council meeting was canceled in the past because the agenda was not posted in a timely manner.

I understand that the server for Peru, Connecting Point was hacked into and affected the City web site. It all seems to be working well today.
