“It doesn’t take a majority to win, just a tireless minority that will keep starting brush fires in the mind and hearts of their fellow men.” Samuel Adams
Judges are a joke. They take 'brown bags' as fast as birds take to bird seed. They are lawyers who have learned all the tricks of deception. The only way to make an honest judge would be to lock them up in solitary confinement with no newspapers or radio or TV or any contact with people until trial day. All the while they should be studying case law and the constitution. Finally, keep all politics out of their path to judgeship.

These judges should not be elected at all. They should be appointed. Preferably by a governor from another state. That last part was a joke.
