How childish and immature and to think these are the people who are controlling our money and our city. Kind of scary isn't it?
Anon 4:03 So Scary that I think it is the greatest campaign card that could be passed out at the next two aldermanic elections. In a community of 17%+ unemployment - this is how someone or a group of someones decide to spend over $1,OOO.OO at the IML Convention.
Don't let up on this.....we need to demand an accounting and reports from each and every alderman who attended the convention. It is a little like having a child who skips school - if the parent doesn't care - the child has his fun but never gets any smarter and becomes a loss to society. People of Peru (parents)this is your responsibility. We need to know what our aldermen (children) are doing with our tax dollars. They, apparently, are not fiscally responsible and it is our job to make sure they are.

Isn't it amazing how much easier it is for certain individuals to spend our money than their own?
