Bicycle Path Committee Meeting 6:30 PM Sept. 7
This meeting time has been bounced around so if you are planning on going and just happen to double check here, I wanted to make it seen right up front. It is at 6:30 NOT 7:30 PM TONIGHT 9/7/10
Meeting was attended by the committee of Jamey Mertel, Dave Potthoff and Dave Waldorf. Conducted by Jeff Snyder the Chamlin engineer who drew up the possible routes throughout the city. Nothing immediate to be considered and they will wait to see what the Peru School system does with the Safe Route to Schools program through the state of Illinois where there are possibly funds. At this time no immediate funding is available elsewhere. This could be a 20 year plan. La Salle drew up their plans in 2003 and has done nothing to further implement the actual bike path system since then.
