Were semis kept out of Flying J last night and ordered to park at Love's Truckstop on I-80?

This was coffee shop talk this morning. Another corrupt business that got caught. Sad but true. Someone was saying that flying j pilot is 1 of the top 10 privately owned businesses in the united states! Forbes magazine they said. 29 billion in annual sales. Unbelievable

Just got off phone where my friend works up at Denny's(located at flying j), truckers on their cb's make a mountain out of a molehill. They may have told each other that, but the parking lot at night was no different then any other night my friend said. A corporate person who works at headquarters was at his desk in his office, Feds walked in, told him to leave, he went outside, waited, later, Feds walked him back in to his office to get personal stuff. He was only allowed to get his cell phone. He wanted his personal computer(laptop), Feds said no, that's conficated too. U-Hauls were there too. Probably for all paperwork and computers. My friend told me this.

The old tiki would be a perfect place for a petro travel plaza. Think of the tax revenue for peru. This is an idea with the supposedly new intersection at 80 and 251.

Just read a bunch of articles on this raid of the headquarters. I goggled it. One article said that it's rare for big business to get raided by the IRS. Which leave me to believe small businesses get raided more often. Very interesting photos in articles.

Another much too do about nothing. Next......white squirrel seen in LaSalle.

Didn't one of our Perus alderman months ago make reference to coyotes? Who cared about that? Thought topic was interesting! Also, mentioned about Tennessee governor. Time will tell- political corruption possibly? IRS/problems??? Big businesses that have issues does trickle down to citizens and communities in every area of the country. EVEN PERU, you know the leader of the valley.

Local newspaper isn't all that, so where else can you read most recent events? On the net, or USA today. In two different sections of USA today today this raid was talked
About. Remember FBI raiding Dixox city hall? Just crazy stuff.
