There is one way and only one way for the electorate to fix any level of government.
You do your homework and learn who the best candidate is and you get out and work to elect that candidate. You do not waste ypour time talking about "abolishing" a level of government, you work to reform it. You can waste your time sitting in front of your computer and piss and moan on the blogs if that makes you feel better. But unless you get off your ass and work for somebody or something you will have "ZERO" impact on reforming anything.
You are not going to make Peru Township go away. Therefore, you have to work to elect people who will run the Township as it is intended to run. Not for the benefit of the elected officials, but for the benefit of those the township is sworn to serve.
So get off your asses and get to work.
It's not rocket science. Join the fight. I did and it feels great!
