Would you rather have a dilapidated building filled with vagrants?

12:54 Of course not but, is the city then ready to buy every vacant building in town and pay for the cost of demolishing it? There are a lot of vacant homes in town in dire need of upkeep.

Just because the city purchases property at a prime location that they feel would be best to control for whatever reason in no way obligates them to purchases other "dilapidated properties." This is not an uncommon practice and if they thought it was best to do so, one would assume there is a logical reason.

How much of this property is usable and how much is nothing more than a steep hill going down and a steep hill going up with non usable land in the middle.

It seems foolish of Peru to throw away the boundary rights of the land north east of Marquette and Wenzel road which immediately was acquired by La Salle and than to buy property from CVS with secondary frontage.

9:44 I would think its foolish to pay $75,000 acre for land above Wenzel road? And LaSalle does not own the land! Landowners can annex where they fell as long as the land is contiguous.
