Test Inc Suburban Laboratories Explain

Test Inc and Suburban Laboratories

Scroll down the page until you come to Suburban Laboratories in partnership with Test Inc. I would like to know more about this partnership and what do they do for Test or for Peru and what does Test  do for them or is it none of our business?

Also I would also like to know the names of other municipalities (according to the N.T.) that they have contracts with because I am seeing a lot of smoke and would like to know where it is coming from.

It is not uncommon for analytical labs to have partnerships, since the equipment and testing protocols can be extremely expensive. Duplication of equipment and dispatching long distances for chain of custody samples is often one of the main reason for partnerships.

In addition, labs often have automatic discounts between one another, because the workloads can vary and you are not going to hire a chemist just to lay them off in a month or two.

There is a great deal to be suspicious about but I doubt lab partnerships are part of it.

I am not suspicious just have a desire to know the complete story. I don't like make judgments with only a part of the information. There are always 2 sides.

5:11 here. Well I am suspicious, no doubt. The timing. The desire to supress public comment. The high rates and whitewashed news article.

It all smells. I just don't think suburban labs has any involvement other than doing work that can't be done here.

I think that if another company came in to run the water treatment plants here they would hire the current workers if possible, so there would not be a big risk. My guess is that the analytical positron is where the huge savings will be. Would have been nice to hear the visitors talk to the council about saving 30 percent on other bids they have won from TEST.

Does anyone wonder why the News Trib did not include the OMA violation in the article? Why they didn't ask a simple question of the competitor to get the names of the cities they have taken from TEST ? Seems odd they put in an irrelevant testimonial from another city that says THEY use super majority and love TEST? Is it news reporting or is it an ad for TEST?

When will the Newstribe do a story on Doug Bederstedt? I guess white collar crime isn't news.

Anon 8:16 Very good questions. The News Tribune article was garbage and at best no more than a endorsement of TEST with the influence of the council.
A large percentage of the voters remember 5 years ago in Harls 1st campaign he was adament about competitive bidding and openly questioned why Test repeatidly recieved contract after contract without it being conducted.
5 years later now that it is the biggest council issue he has ever experienced he says nothing. WHY?
The reason can't be these measly $400 & $500 campaign donations.

That's why the NT is probably losing readers. One sided reporting. Have heard the term "daily disappointment" used frequently lately. We get more information from other papers about our area than the NT. Kind of sad.

If harl is backtracking on his views on competitive bidding during his campaign and doesnt follow or hasnt followed through then he would be nothing but a downright LIAR. He needs to resign. The alderman should get some ba_ _ s!

I believe that we should robocall for boycott of the paper. Make the switch, I did. There are other papers.

All we ask for is fair and unbiased investigative journalism. They go after Lois just because she used to link to their garbage articles. As a Paper, you can think your advertising is who you need to bow down before. It's not. If you lose readership, the deliveries get harder (they pay literally nothing to the route carriers and force them to drive on the wrong side of the damn road lol). If 5 percent did a boycott they would get the point. One out twenty subscribers just drop them for three months. Send a message where it counts..

People think that a liar gains a victory over his victim. What I've learned is that a lie is an act of self-abdication, because one surrenders one's reality to the person to whom one lies, making that person one's master, comdemning oneself from then on to faking the sort of reality that person's view requires to be faked.

Everyone needs to bring a cow bell to the meeting! Peru needs more Cow Bell!

THE NEWS TRIBUNE IS A FARCE. THEY HAVE NO INVESTIGATIVE REPORTER. DO THEY EVEN HAVE A REPORTER WHO GOES OUT TO ASK WHAT PEOPLE REALLY THINK AND THEN PRINT WHAT THEY ACTUALLY SAY! I DON'T THINK SO.
THE ONLY PERSON I KNOW AND LISTEN TO, IS ROD THORSON, WHO WANTS TO KNOW WHATS REALLY GOING ON. HE WOULD REALLY MAKE A GOOD INVESTI GATOR. AND HE WOULD TELL IT LIKE IT IS.

So right 11:22 about liars.

YOU GOT THAT RIGHT MARV!!!!

9:53 You are right. This CLOWN that Peru calls Mayor is not trustworthy. He made campaign promises and after being elected, went a total 180 degrees. It was ALL about getting the UNION involved more in Peru. This guy has to go! If he decides to NOT run for mayor again I say that is the first thing he stuck to from his campaign, as he said "I only want 2 terms". If he is planning to take Biedersted's business over , I hope people have sense enough to go elsewhere.

He is just looking for a higher paying government job. The assessor makes $40K.

Why would he think that he is worthy of a higher paying government job when he can't even do the job in a town of 9000+? MUST BE FOR THE UNION!
