Notes Along the Campaign Trail in Peru

Hoping to hear from the candidates as they venture into their campaigns for Peru Alderman. And of course from our residents.

My first Meet and Greet was a success!!
I met some great people, and listened to their concerns, and ideas.
Special Thanks to Treasurer Gary Hylla for being present to answer questions, Mayor Harl for stopping by, and former Senator Gary Dahl for sitting in.
Thank You!!!

Lois,
Thanks for posting my comments on my first Meet and Greet.
"Communication is the key"!! Our citizens are starving to be listened to, They must know that we are available to listen to their concerns and ideas.
Each Saturday in the month of March I will be at Liberty Family Restaurant from 2:00-3:00 offering free coffee and soft drinks to my constituents that stop in to chat.
Thank you,
Rodney

Mr. Perez - you are absolutely correct when you say that the citizens are starving to be listened to. The key to that situation though is to be listened to with respect, understanding, and an open mind. Some of our aldermen tend to exhibit resentment when bothered or approached by citizens with concerns that they (aldermen) may not consider important or on their agenda. We need to unite and we need some new and fresh ideas.
