Illinois cannot pay its own bills and we are going to ask them to fund our swimming pool (at least partially)

My point exactly! How can a government that is broke offer grants for such unnecessary things as a swimming pool? And, how can our local government cover the cost of that pool when they're broke? You know what scares me the most, these governing bodies know they can turn to the citizens to bail them out by raising our taxes. Instead of being fiscally responsible they act like children because they know they have a way out -US. Citizens of Peru don't be mislead. This pool will cost you more money and more than likely your taxes will be increased to pay for it.

Amen: 3:53, There never was a free lunch. The aldermen in Peru, are not thinking of their constituents. They don't care what the people want. They will do what they want come hell or high water. They all have been in to long, and still under the influence of Mayor Baker. They never had a say about anything when he was Mayor, but now they think they know it all. Like Miksiyka saying he has to vote a certain way because Obeirne is his friend. People this man is educating our children. There is not 1 alderman, with the brains to say no, we shouldn't do this at this time. They just don't care.g
