This blog is maintained for the sole purpose of allowing the people of Peru and those interested in the cities of the Illinois Valley to express their views.
“It doesn’t take a majority to win, just a tireless minority that will keep starting brush fires in the mind and hearts of their fellow men.” Samuel Adams
This was a picture of Peru that was developed early this past summer so consider this just a bit of a reminder to those who have seen it before or news to those who have not.
What is the city doing north of wenzel road? Are they creating a new river? There are a lot of trucks from companies outside of the area hauling dirt out of there. Was there a public bid on this work? They have been up there for at least 3 weeks. This must be costing a fortune. Was this work necessary at this time? Could someone explain?
