I totally agree with you 1:36 Nov. 12th. Even though our mayor and economic developer are going they don't seem to want to explain their involvement to the people they represent. Ottawa's mayor and the Ottawa paper have provided us with the details we were seeking with regards to this trip. Thank you Ottawa.

The lack of sharing city information by local office holders is and has been a major failure of the Harl administration. A major failure of the citizenship is and has been their lack of ability to present one candidate qualified to be Mayor and who is electable.
Peru desperately needs a person who has a understanding of business and the whats, whys and hows of putting together a winning program. Peru's fortune of living under the Baker Regime is coming to a close without any short or long term plans to support property taxes in the future. What has been proposed for the empty sites created by the leaving of Sears and Penny'? Who in the Peru political inner circle has the ability to not leave these gapping holes continue to exist? The filling of these long term negatives seem to be another major problem, much more major than going to China at this time. Of course identifying priorities is still another lack of this administration.

Yes maintaining the status quo of the Peru Mall is more important than running off to China which took place yesterday. As most have been told by 1st grade "A bird in the hand is better than two in the bush". The Peru Mall has supported Peru financially since the early 70's.
