Ogesby to Remove Itself from the Shared Services (Police)
It appears we are a standstill on the attempt to join local cities into one shared service or maybe more properly called a Consolidation. La Salle and Peru must make the tough decision of whether it is now necessary to put themselves in the same bldg but retain all their independence. Should each city solve their own problems? Did Peru make a rash decision to purchase the Jewel property from CVS? Is it a sale in limbo or a done deal? Mayor Harl indicated at the SSLOP mtg something needed to be done within 30 days or what would happen? Can La Salle alone afford the cost?
