Keeping On Top of the Candidate Scene, Check and Double Check
How much do you really know about the candidate of your choice? Or are you strictly voting the party line? I am helping you by posting this information.

This chart has some incorrect information on it. I don't believe that all of the parties involved will agree with the characterizations of their positions. For example, every proposal to accept refugees from Syria includes background checks. Also, a quick Google search for "Common Core" will tell you that it already IS a state-level initiative. It has nothing to do with the federal government.
Jeff Ballard will be appointed 1st ward alderman at Monday night's council meeting. He will be replacing the seat vacated by alderman Mueller. 4 applications were submitted for the position.
