Not Peru politics but shows how credit card abuse can happen internally. Interesting story.

  1. It happens everday. I am sure glad all the Peru officials got the Mastercard.

  2. Over the past several months in the Chicago tribune I've read that the mayor of Channahon, Illinois (Joe Cook) had a credit card issued to him by the city. He used his card for personal use, such as $1,200 for a dinner at a steak house. This was investigated and he was found guilty in federal court in Chicago. Guess what. He was elected again by the taxpayers after the initial investigation began. STUPID VOTERS!!! So,'case being said, mis-use happens all the time. And, I believe a Peru employee owns a steakhouse/restaurant. Hope this doesn't happen to in Peru!! Google: Joe Cook/ Channahon's mayor and read. Interesting!!
