Lois - blogger changed the comment interface. You need to reset it in the blog interface - I had the same problem - nobody could see comments. I selected "full page" under the comments setting instead of the default "embedded" which seems to have cleard things up.
Thank you Brian, I knew the format had changed but I was still able to work the blog but I now find out others could not. Anyone now will be taken off the blog to a comment page when they wish to make a comment and when they click on publish your comment you will return to the blog. Also note you can check a box and follow comments through emails.
