This blog is maintained for the sole purpose of allowing the people of Peru and those interested in the cities of the Illinois Valley to express their views.
The problem is that a unwatched committee called the Recreation Commission was given free rein to change the tennis court to pickleball. The problem is that this court is only 20 feet away from 2 family residences. Pickleball is a noisy game played by as many as 16 people on the court at the same time. Can you just imagine the noise that will be heard from that park?
Lois , at eight P.M. June 18 the blog has had over 650 responses to your comments this month. Not bad for someone who gets accused of not volunteering any time to Peru. Which politician was it that said this blog was of no significance in Peru politics and the coming elections? Over 750 responses last month and better than 650 this month with 12 days to go. Congratulations and keep up the outstanding work.

3:19 Maybe people are "fed up" because of the way things are being handled in the city of Peru.
