Peru Township considers storm alarm presentation, purchases an emergency alarm for the office

If you subscribe to the N.T., can you give us an explanation for this purchase which on the surface does not make much sense.  What has the TWP been using all the years he has been located on Peoria St?

When there were competent supervisors working at the township there was no need for such nonsense. And I guess I would give biederstedt a cake and a phony placque if he gave me a do nothing job for the next six months until the real assessor is sworn in!

They should have placed the alarm in the office 4 years ago. But, it is not criminal to take a big paycheck for doing nothing.

maybe the persons dealing with the "wishy washy" general assistance clients should take classes and learn to deal with them instead of buying alarms!

If the "wishy-washy" Trustee Biagioni just happens to be profiting personally from his wishy-washy recommendations to install electronic devices that his wishy-washy patronage company just happens to sell, I think there should be a more than wishy-washy complaint filed to some wishy-washy Springfield bureaucrat to investigate in a very wishy-washy fashion. So the new township trustees are quickly establishing themselves as just as phony and corrupt as Peru's elected officials. Self-serving and self-important. It is also being reported that a former road commissioner who was unseated by an heir to a hardware empire has weaseled his way back onto the Peru township payroll as the official "road commissioner consultant" since the "poor farmer" who was actually elected is too busy counting his money to perform the duties of township road commissioner. Funny how corruption runs rampant around Peru, IL. Is there something in the water? Seriously, what is that stuff in Peru's water anyway?

Just heard the newly elected Peru Township officials have reverted back to the previous practice of patronage hiring of connected family members working the "ghost payroll" shift. The "Ghost Payroller" is none other than the notorious No-Show County Board member Joe Oscepinski Jr. So the poor farmer is taking direction from Ozzy Sr. on how to run a totally corrupt township road district.
What a bunch of slugs.
