I agree 8:31. Peru Township, Peru Township Road District. Additionally, LaSalle and Peru Grade Schools along with LP High School should be consolidated into one School District.
8:31 What would you do without those political salaries. Does the former campaign manager still make $30,000 as the note taking for those once a month 20 minute township meetings? The township is just what everybody wants----a political paid position with no responsibilities. Get it on the ballot today!
11:36 you need a referendum. Maybe the same one who spearheaded the reduction of city alderman will get going the petition to eliminate the township positions.

I wonder what State Representative Harl thinks about this.
One of the suggestions was getting rid of certain levels of government by a vote. I think the first that should go is Peru Township.
